Return and Refund Policy
At Beauty Break with Clara, every product is personally curated and inspected before it leaves my hands. Because of this, all sales are generally final. However, I want every customer to be happy with what they receive, so here's exactly how returns and refunds work.
What's eligible for return or refund:
Returns or refunds are accepted only in cases of seller error, meaning:
- Wrong product, shade, or variant was shipped
- Product was damaged during packing on our end (not during transit)
- Item is materially different from its listing description
What's NOT eligible for return or refund:
- Change of mind, including incorrect shade selection by the customer
- Manufacturer defects (these are addressed directly with the brand, not the reseller)
- Damage caused by courier handling during transit (these are addressed with the courier's insurance claim process)
- Items that have been opened, used, or have broken safety seals (for hygiene reasons)
- Items from a Gift With Purchase (GWP) or promotional bundle, unless the entire bundle is being returned
The unboxing video requirement:
To file any claim, customers must provide a full, uncut unboxing video that shows:
- The unopened package upon receipt from the courier
- The seal being broken for the first time
- The full contents being revealed in real-time without cuts or edits
Without an unboxing video, claims cannot be processed. This requirement is communicated at checkout, in the order confirmation email, the shipping confirmation email, and the order delivered email.
How to file a claim:
- Reply to your order confirmation email or contact us at clara@shopbbwc.com within 24–48 hours of delivery
- Include your order number, a description of the issue, and your unboxing video
- Claims received beyond 48 hours of delivery cannot be processed
Resolution timeline:
Approved claims are resolved within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, or a store credit can be issued if preferred (typically 10% bonus value as a thank-you).
A note on authenticity claims:
All products sold at Beauty Break with Clara are sourced from legitimate suppliers including brand websites and authorized retailers in the Philippines, US, UK, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. If you believe an item received is not authentic, please contact us with photos and your unboxing video within 48 hours of delivery, and the matter will be investigated personally.
